Art Wellness Group: Racial Stress & Anxiety

Discover solace and connection in our virtual art wellness group, a nurturing space crafted to delve into the complexities of stress, anxiety, and identity related to experiences of marginalization and generational patterns.

This inclusive community is open to individuals who identify as Black, of the African Diaspora, Indigenous, or of color, providing an accessible and supportive environment.

Through shared stories and artistic expression, we aim to facilitate healing and foster a sense of belonging. Join us on a transformative exploration of self-discovery and well-being.

Group Flow

  • 15 minutes - Welcome & Grounding

  • 45 minutes - Art-making

  • 30 minutes - Explorations & Discussion

The group runs for 6-weeks and meets Mondays from 7-8:30 pm ET. Please note you must sign up for all 6 sessions.

The group is offered on a sliding scale to uphold accessibility, allowing you to attend at a comfortable rate based on your social location and financial needs.

Sliding scale rates . . .

Tier 1 - $84 ($14 per group session) is the actual cost for the 6-weeks. Consider paying in full if you're in a position of financial stability or have a higher income that allows you to join the group without impacting your ability to cover basic needs, save for the future, or enjoy discretionary spending.

Tier 2 - $54 ($9 per group session). Consider paying this rate if you can meet your basic needs but have limited expendable income.

Tier 3 - $30 ($5 per group session). Consider paying this rate if you face financial challenges, such as limited access to healthcare, high levels of debt, or struggle to meet basic needs.

Art Wellness groups are not clinical mental health services; it is not art therapy. No artistic skill or experience is needed to join groups.
